Conference Themes

       In the midst of rapid development of high performance computing beyond the petascale and the emergence of new scientific and engineering applications both in China and worldwide, this conference will highlight the current research progress in scientific computing in terms of scalable algorithms and supercomputing applications. Leading international researchers will review recent progress and address open issues in resolving new challenges associated with extreme scale computing. This conference will cover diverse areas such as molecular dynamics simulations, material science, biomedicine, geoscience, and CFD, in conjunction with algorithms on scalable solvers, uncertainty quantification, hybrid programming paradigms. A special panel discussion will examine future collaborations on extreme scale scientific computing.
